The plot takes the audience to the eighty-third year. Dennis Nielsen was arrested on charges of murdering and dismembering several people. These crimes have occurred in north London over the past five years. The series tells in three parts how the case concerning these events was conducted. Nilles, played by David Tenant, will first appear before us as a defendant in the case, and then, in the second episode, will be in court. Detective Peter Jay and Brian Masters will also take part in the action. The latter in two thousand and eleven wrote a book enlightened by the events that took place in eighty-third and formed the basis of this series.
