This is the second Scandinavian TV series I watch, the first Norwegian. The series is not censored, which, to be honest, amazed me. It is unlikely that such a series can be watched by the whole family, and even more so with the kids. But for yourself – you can, completely. I do not want to say that the mini-series seemed chopped off and not self-sufficient. Only seven episodes of twenty minutes … it seems so little, but in fact you manage to plunge into the atmosphere so deeply. The plot is interesting in the sense that an unusual for Norway hero appears on the screen – an immigrant from the east Salmander. In black films and comedies, no one pays such attention at all, so we won’t either. Probably, only the main character has an original and interesting character. I won’t say that about the rest. Crime, investigations, the beauty of Norway and a sea of positive jokes (most of them vulgar) – this mix made the Hellfjord series the leading series with a clear shade of Scandinavian black humor.
